Swingline Easy View 20-Sheet Capacity Two-Hole Plastic Punch

This product is a poorly engineered mistake. It has alignment indicators that are supposed to show whether the paper being punched has been inserted evenly. However, on the one I bought the alignment indicators themselves were out of alignment, and they forced the paper into a crooked angle. I attempted to bypass this flaw by removing the defective indicators, but the devices were actually the only part that even provided a solid edge for the paper to rest against. Paper can still not be inserted evenly because the surface at the rear of the insertion area is curved.

This model is complete junk, and my files are now ragged.

Vonage review

Vonage is a voice over IP provider. I have been curious about their service, and today I decided to sign up and try it out. Unfortunately, their business practices are so deceptive that I decided that it would be a bad idea. After completing an order form I looked over the "Terms and Conditions" documents and saw the disclosure that the plans have terms of months or years. I also saw a disclosure that there is an early disconnect fee. However, the two residential plans were not addressed in the document, so I looked around the website to see what the minimum time periods for these plans were. The website did not disclose the commitment periods for these plans on the pages that talked about the features and monthly rates of these plans. In a 20-minute phone call to Vonage the employee had to ask a supervisor for help, and then I was directed to a link for "fees and charges" in the Terms and Conditions page, this link not appearing in the same section that talked about the service commitment. Following that link brought me to a page that explained that a $40 cancellation fee would be charged if disconnecting within two years.

It's bad enough to require a lengthy commitment from customers with this kind of service. It's reprehensible to bury this contract disclosure from potential customers. It is obvious that they are trying to hide this fee from new customers, and I consider this behavior fraudulent. Vonage is doing business in a highly unethical manner, and I will never seek their services.
